![]() You can join via Steam or manually provide the server IP, port, and password.Įven after this issue has been resolved, I could see manual lobby entry as a potential method of connecting to frequently joined lobbies displaying recently used lobbies similar to Terraria's frequently joined servers. ![]() I see this working similar to how Terraria handles it. What I mean by manual lobby entry is exactly how it sounds, manually providing a lobby and password to join. It seems that /invite has some trouble with nicknamed friends, and Steam's invite system looks to be affected by this 100 max active lobby bug. I have not been able to use either Steam or in-game invites in some time. There's other commands too, all of them listed if you type /help. then you'll be given a list of steam friends currently online, each assigned a number, you can then use "/invite _" (insert number in blank) to invite them. What you can do is, type "/invite" in the in-game chat (of course, after you've created the online game/ lobby. Of course, i'm pretty sure you can't invite by "right clicking" your friend's steam profile and then looking for the "invite to game" button anymore, and i'm not sure if it was ever an available option. What do you mean by this? If you're having trouble finding your friend's internet lobby on the list of online games? (since we currently don't have a "search" feature for titles or host name that might need to be implemented sometime in the future but whatever) If so, well, actually, you can invite steam friends.
